This dish tastes exactly like cinnamon buns, and, like its name says, it’s sugary cream cheese-filled dough melts in your mouth! Giant Melt-In-Your-Mouth Cinnamon Biscuits
- 1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese
- 1 tube biscuit dough (contains 8)
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Grease 8×8 inch dish and Preheat oven at 350°. Separate dough into four biscuits and place them into the bottom of the dish, flattening and smushing them together so that they cover the bottom of the dish.
In a small bowl, mix together cream cheese, vanilla, lemon juice, and 1/2 cup of sugar; pour mixture into dish, evenly spreading over the biscuits.
On a clean surface, separate the remaining four biscuits and flatten them as you had flattened the first four; gently drape over the cream cheese mixture.
(The biscuits don’t have to cover every inch of the mixture!)
Mix together melted butter, cinnamon, and 1/4 cup of sugar; evenly pour over the top biscuits. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Cool before serving.
